ASCE members – The Central Ohio Section is partnering with the Columbus Metropolitan Club (CMC) on presentations by CMC that influence civil engineering work in Central Ohio. A great CMC program is coming up on July 27:

All Roads Lead to ODOT featuring Director, Jerry Wray, P.E.
Building and maintaining roads, bridges and crucial transportation infrastructure is all about the Benjamins; challenges and triumphs on the paths ahead.

Our special guest speaker is Andrew W. Herrmann, P.E., SECB, F.ASCE who is the current ASCE National President-Elect. Mr. Herrmann is coming in from Pittsburgh where he is a principal with Hardesty & Hanover, LLP. During the past 37 years at Hardesty and & Hanover, LLP, Andrew has held many positions including structural detailer, structural engineer, project engineer and associate engineer before becoming a managing partner and then principal. Mr. Herrmann will begin his presidency with ASCE National in the fall of 2011. Please join us as President-Elect Herrmann presents the ASCE’s Strategic Initiatives in 2011 and beyond.
