-OTEC Happy Hour @ Brothers Bar and Grill (477 Park Street), Tuesday October 27, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.

-Registration Deadline for April 2010 PE and PS exams is Wednesday, December 16th. The link to the application and instructions is listed below.

Good luck to everyone taking their PE or PS exams on Friday.

Good Morning,

The Central Region Younger Member Council will be presenting five awards to Younger Members and Groups during the 2010 Younger Member Conference in Cleveland, Ohio January 22-23 (winner need not be present).  The Award Committee is hereby soliciting nominees for the following five categories: Outstanding Young Civil Engineer in the Private Sector, Outstanding Young Civil Engineer in the Public Sector, Outstanding Younger Member in Community Activities, Outstanding Younger Member Group Community Service Project, and Outstanding ASCE Practitioner Advisor.

Attached please find the information regarding the requirements for the awards. This information as well as the five nomination forms are available on the conference website at http://www.crymc.asce.org/awards.html.

Please note the due date for submitting any nominations is December 4th, 2009.

Anyone in your organization can nominate a younger member for an award so please forward this email to all your members.
