International Conference on Perpetual Pavement 2014
More than 250 experts from 30 states and 19 state departments of transportation attended the first two International Conferences on Perpetual Pavement (ICPP), held in 2006 and 2009, to discuss optimal design and construction approaches for asphalt pavements designed and built to last longer than 50 years without requiring major structural rehabilitation or reconstruction, and needing only periodic surface renewal in response to distresses confined to the top of the pavement.
