We have a group package of tickets to the Blue Jackets-Capitals game on Thursday, January 30th. Tickets are $10 per member and $15 per non-ASCE guest. We’re accepting pre-payment now using Paypal (see below). As these tickets usually sell for $50 face value, it’s a heckuva deal! Prior to the game, we’ll have a social for the game attendees put on by the Younger Members group at Brother’s, so even if you don’t want to go to the hockey game, please come out for drinks, food and fellowship!

Please keep Saturday October 5th open for the Ohio University chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers annual golf outing. The scramble is tentatively set for 9 AM with a shotgun start. Get together with some friends and enjoy the fall in Athens. The outing is a great time and all the proceeds are put into our projects such as the concrete canoe and steel bridge. 17th Annual ASCE Golf Outing June 21st!!

With spring in full swing that means Golf Season is upon us. Don’t forget to mark your calendars and signup for the 17th annual ASCE Central Ohio Section Golf Outing to be held June 21st, 11:00a.m. at Darby Creek Golf Course. The format is the ever popular 2 person mixed format. For a low entry fee of $70 you get greens fees, cart, driving range, drink tickets, lunch, steak and chicken dinner, beverages, tons of hole and place prizes and lots of “those” pies at the end.

The ASCE Younger Member Group will again be co-sponsoring this event with ASHE, OSPE, and the Engineers Club. All ASCE members are welcome.
