[ASCE YM] PE Refresher Course Deadline

-The deadline for signing up for the OSU Civil Engineering PE Refresher Course in next Tuesday (1.12.10).  See information and link for the course below.

-The OSU Civil Engineering PE Refresher Course will meet each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:30-10:30 for eight sessions beginning the 26th of January. Registration is required and must be completed at least two weeks in advance of the section starting date. Payment or contract must accompany application to ensure enrollment. All checks or money orders should be payable to The Ohio State University. If enrollment does not meet the minimum required, the course will be cancelled and all money will be refunded. -Deadline for the Robert O'Shea Ethics Award is due by January 15, 2010 please visit www.ohioasce.org<http://www.ohioasce.org> for additional information.  Cash award of $250 for the author and $250 for the affiliated chapter.

- January Luncheon will be January 21, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza North (6500 Doubletree Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43229) on the topic of Engineers Without Borders.  Registration for luncheons is now available online at http://centralohioasce.com
-The Section's January Newsletter is attached with more information about the Luncheon and other topics above.

Younger Members Secretary AJ Smith, Vice President Kris Ruggles, and I will be attend the Region 3 Leadership Conference later this month in Cleveland, Ohio.  Representatives from the OSU and OU student Chapters will be attending and we hope to gain some new ideas for working with the students and for education outreach programs.
