I am the judge coordinator for the Future City Competition that will take place at Columbus State on Jan 21. We can use a few more engineers, architects, or city planners to help evaluate the student?s projects and presentations. It?s a lot of fun, and the students are very creative describing their futuristic cities. They?re organized in teams of three, ?one team to a school, and have been working most of the Fall on it. And they are very appreciative of feedback from real world engineers, architects and city planners. If you or any ASCE folks that would like this sort of thing, the commitment is just for Saturday morning Jan 21. More information is on the Web site below, or interested individuals can contact me directly. http://futurecity.org/ohio mfarrell at questline.com My goal is to have 75 volunteers judges signed on by Jan 6th, and we?re just about hallway there.
