The Central Ohio Section encourages all members and the general public to view Liquid Assets, a ninety-minute documentary, that tells the story of essential infrastructure systems: water, wastewater, and stormwater. These systems — some in the ground for more than 100 years — provide a critical public health function and are essential for economic development and growth. Largely out of sight and out of mind, these aging systems have not been maintained, and some estimates suggest this is the single largest public works endeavor in our nation’s history.

The ASCE Central Ohio Section Younger Members along with the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers Younger Members, Engineers Club of Columbus, and Central Ohio Chapter of ASHE would like to invite everyone to a post OTEC Happy Hour on Tuesday October 28, 2008 at Brothers Bar and Grill (477 Park Street) from 6- 8 p.m.

Appetizers will be provided along with discounted drink prices.
