Civil Engineering Career Day - 2008

This year's Central Ohio ASCE Civil Engineering Career day will held on April 22, 2008. We will tour two active construction projects. They are the Marysville Water Reclamation Facility in the morning and the 6-story Grange Insurance Parking Garage in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided for those attending and will be held at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Café. Speakers for the lunch will be Dr. Carolyn Merry, Chair of OSU Civil Engineering Department and Dr. Deborah McAvoy, Ohio University Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering. The schedule will be as follows:
8:00am to 8:45am Sign-in at OSU College of Engineering (426 Hitchcock Hall)

8:45am to 9:15am Travel by bus to first site visit

9:15am to 10:45am Tour of the City of Marysville’s new Water Reclamation Facility

10:45am to 11:15am Travel by bus to lunch

11:15am to 12:45pm Lunch at Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe

12:45pm to 1:00pm Travel by bus to second site visit

1:00pm to 2:30pm Tour of Grange Insurance Parking Garage

2:30pm to 2:45pm Travel back to OSU/Student Pick-up at Hitchcock Hall
