I have 11 years of industry, and three years of academic (Graduate Research Assistant) experience in water and wastewater engineering. I have been working as a consulting engineer for the past nine years. My overall experience spans four states and two countries. As a part of my past experience, I have participated in and led teams for providing design, construction administration, and construction phase services of water and wastewater facilities (pipelines, treatment plants, and pump stations). Additionally, I have conducted research on the use of polymeric liners in the rehabilitation of water and wastewater pipelines under three grants and led a project team for ISO 9000 quality assurance/quality control certification.

I have been a steward of the American Society of Civil Engineers for the past four years via serving on Branch and Section Boards. I also serve as an Associate Editor for the ASCE’s Journal of Pipeline Systems and will be a Technical Co-Chair of the ASCE Pipelines conference in 2015. I truly believe in the usefulness of this great organization for engineers that are determined to achieve continuous personal and professional growth.

I am married and we have a 2-yr old son. My spare time interests include spending time with family, reading, watching movies, traveling, attending social events, and getting exercise.
