EWB-USA and ASCE--how you can participate

EWB-USA is a great organization — a non-profit, humanitarian organization that helps developing communities worldwide build sustainable life-improving infrastructure. Working with EWB-USA is one of my presidential initiatives. For more on the partnership, visit www.asce.org/ewb .

Engineers Without Borders-USA just discovered an amazing opportunity to receive a gift of $50,000 — Parade Magazine , together with the Case Foundation, Network for Good, and Global Giving are presenting America’s Giving Challenge and awarding $50,000 each to the eight charities who attract the MOST donors to their cause.

If EWB-USA wins the $50,000, they will offer ten $1,000 grants to the EWB chapters with the greatest level of participation. All it takes is a minimum donation of $10. Right now, the top group has 1,289 donors.

The challenge ends on January 31 — please take a minute to:

Click here and make your donation of $10 or more right now!

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Only one donation per person will be counted. They are looking for participation. 2. Donations MUST be made through the link above in order to count toward the challenge.
3. The challenge ends on January 31, 2008 — EWB-USA will know if they have won by COB, Friday, February 1.

A small contribution can make a huge difference!
