March President's Letter

I would like to thank those of you that were able to attend the E-Week luncheon in February. Once again the planning committee did a great job on providing a topic and presentation that is relatable to all disciplines of engineering.

This month ASCE has teamed up with ASHE to provide a lunch presentation and tour of the Dodridge Street Bridge project. Speakers James Pajk, P.E. from the Franklin County Engineers Office and Richard Engel, P.E. of E.L. Robinson Engineering will be presenting at The Fawcett Center and the tour will be held at the project site which is in close proximity. Those who would like to attend will be required to provide their own transportation to the site and proper PPE during the tour. Please see the announcement for complete details.

As identified in last month’s newsletter, the Central Ohio Section is seeking nominations for the Outstanding Central Ohio Section Member, Outstanding Civil Engineer of Central Ohio, and the Ohio Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement awards. Nominations for these awards can be submitted by emailing ASCE Central Ohio at asce@centralohioasce.com .
