The Dodridge Street Bridge is a three span, arched, reinforced concrete girder structure, spanning the Olentangy River in Columbus, Ohio. The bridge project is being built during the 2011 and 2012 construction seasons.

A short presentation will discuss Franklin County’s approach to the structure type determination and some of the design challenges affiliated with this project.

A tour of the project site will take place immediately after the presentation for those interested. Attendees will be required to drive to the site and bring their own hard hat, safety vest and appropriate footwear for walking the site. The site is located approximately 5 minutes from the Fawcett Center. Maps and directions as to where to park will be given at the meeting.

CPD Hours: A certificate for one (1) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hour will be issued at the conclusion of the program.
