Topic: City of Columbus Upground Reservoir Project

Construction of the first of three upground reservoirs was intitated in may of this year. This first reservoir, being constructed on Site No. 2 will contain 9.2 billion gallons of water. The project includes over 5 miles of embankment, over 4.5 million cubic yards of embanment fill, a composite liner over 780 acres and a state-of-art groundwater monitoring system. The reservoir will provide the water supply required to meet the long-range needs for the communities served by the Columbus Division of Water and Del-Co Water Company.

CPD Hours: A certificate for one (1) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hour will be issued at the conclusion of the program.

Please note: Late registrations and walk-ins may not be accepted. Registration fees may still be required for no-shows and registrants canceling after October 15, 2011.
Payment: The preferred method of payment is online before October 15, 2011 (see below) or on the day of the event by cash or check. If you need to pay for multiple registrations, please pay by check. Checks should be made payable to Central Ohio ASCE.
