Whatever happens in the State Legislature and Congress, good or bad, affects your profession and your career in Civil Engineering. You need to know more about it, and participate in the decisions. ASCE is sponsoring this program with funds from your dues to encourage our members’ greater involvement and increase our influence in the legislative arena. We personally urge you to attend this program, visit your State legislators, and participate in ASCE’s efforts to gain for Civil Engineers a greater voice in legislation. It will also be a chance to meet ASCE’s national Director of Government Relations, Brian Pallasch, and share his wide ranging experience and personal understanding of federal legislation affecting you in your profession.

ASCE, your professional organization, is presenting this program on your behalf – please take advantage of it. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this program, contact Dave Pritchard, Legislative Day Coordinator for ASCE at 614-519-4819 or davepritchard@sbcglobal.net .

Visits to your legislators are encouraged in the afternoon after the program – we can help you arrange these.

Registration in being handled by OSPE, but please identify yourself as an ASCE member when you register so that you receive the 50% discount, and so we can determine the level of participation by ASCE members.
