Julie Pickering

Julie L. Pickering, PE
Past President of Central Ohio Section, American Society of Civil Engineers

Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from The Ohio State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. She has over 13 years of experience working on Federal, State, public and private civil engineering projects. Some examples of her experience include hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, preparation of federal Flood Insurance Studies and Flood Insurance Rate Maps, design and permitting of landfill facilities and on-site wastewater treatment facilities, renovation of historic locks and dams, mine reclamation and stream restoration projects, plan and specification development and review, and cost estimating.

While a student at The Ohio State University, Julie was a member and officer of The National Civil Engineering Honor Society of Chi Epsilon. She was also a member of The National Engineering Honor Society of Tau Beta Pi, The National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and The Golden Key National Honor Society. She has been a Central Ohio Section board member for 5 years.

Julie is a water resources engineer with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.
