Topic: Ethanol and the Road Ahead

The presentation will initially focus on the technical aspects associated with the production of Ethanol; Ethanol 101. Along with the today’s technology, new technologies and opportunities within the Ethanol industry will be discussed. After presenting on the method of production, the presentation will focus on the forecasted expansion of the ethanol industry including a review of production as it stands today. The Ethanol Industry “boom” into the eastern corn belt will be discussed along with the typical construction and engineering costs associated for these facilities.

CPD Hours: 1 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hour certificate will be issued at the conclusion of the program.

Cost: $20 ASCE Members and Guests ($15 Life Members and $10 Students)

Menu: Mixed greens with roma tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and choice of dressing. Vegetable lasagna or honey lavender chicken served with jasmine rice and vegetables. Dessert is New York Cheesecake.
