Topic: Scioto Mile Promenade and Park

Speakers: Jeff Ruschau (Messer Construction) and Jon Beier (Shelley Metz Baumann Hawk)

Currently under construction, the $44 million Scioto Mile project will certainly re-shape the downtown landscape. The project extends along Civic Center Drive from Broad Street to Main Street and consists of two major parts: The Promenade and The John W. Galbreath Bicentennial Park. Within these parts, there is extensive roadwork and traffic reconfiguration, restoration of an 80-year-old sewer, landscaped pedestrian pathways, over 15,000 SF of fountains, two post-tensioned structures, and a Prow extending into the river at the former Town Street bridge abutment. Join Jeff and Jon as they give an overview of the Scioto Mile project, including a 3D tour of sights unseen.

Menu: Choices are Baked Salmon or Chicken Dijonaise. A vegetarian option is available upon request. Please indicate your menu choice when registering.

Cost: $20 ASCE Members and Guests ($15 Life Members and $10 Students)

CPD Hours: One (1) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hour certificate will be issued at the conclusion of the program.
